Commissioner O’Donnell is in her third year of a four-year term. She earned certification as a county commissioner recently after completing classes by the County College of New Mexico State University known as EDGE. Candyce serves on the Rio Fernando Revitalization Team, the Inter-Governmental Council and is an alternate to the Landfill Board. Currently, the District V Commissioner works with various groups to advance safety improvements at the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge. She has been a resident of Taos for nearly 45 years after receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism from NMSU.
