Aurora Trujillo is a Taos native from Taos Pueblo and Arroyo Hondo, NM.
She received her Master’s in Public Health with a concentration in Public Health Policy &
Management in 2015 from the University of Arizona, and worked previously with a
coalition as the Coordinator of the Santa Fe Prevention Alliance. She has also worked as
a research assistant with the Native Nations Institute with the U of A, and published a paper in the Journal of Primary Prevention as the 3rd author with the Center for American Indian Resilience. She enjoys running, outdoor
sports, and coaching high school track and field. Aurora believes in communities
working together to address local issues using participatory and asset-based
approaches.
